Each April, Aveda Salons across Tennessee raised money to help TCWN reach its mission of clean water for all in the Volunteer State. On Monday, May 23, 2016, the stylists and staff from Aveda salons traded in their scissors and combs for waders and gloves to help cleanup Goose Creek in South Knoxville.
While walking through the shallow water of Goose Creek, the cleanup crew found old tires, a shopping cart, lots of litter and many other things that should not be in the creek.
The staff and Board at TCWN thank the associates from Aveda for their commitment to clean water in Knoxville and across the nation!!!!
