A Southeast Green Power Summit will be held on May 8-9, 2002 at NC State University's McKimmon Conference Center in Raleigh, NC.  The agenda includes expert speakers from DOE Green Power Programs, Utilities, and industry consultants who will discuss marketing green power, choosing appropriate technologies, developing supportive public policies, and learning from others' experiences.  Parties with a stake in green power development, including utility companies, regulatory agencies, and environmental organizations, should attend and be prepared to interact with potential partners in their states and the region.
