Citizens for free Watts Bar lake access

Citizens for Free Watts Bar Access formed to accomplish the following goals:

• To stop the Brigadoon Development project on Watts Bar Lake that is currently excluding public access;
• To determine the level of pollution in the lake and reduce it;
• To stop TVA from selling public lands to private developers without preserving public access.

The group is made up of residents of Roane County who are concerned about these issues.

To achieve these goals the group is working with local decision makers to educate them on TVA land transfers, pollution levels in the lake and get their support on the group's goals.

ACTION!

TVA is holding hearings on land transfers August 16-17, 2006 in Knoxville at the TVA Towers. The group will be there to present comments. Please attend and show your support!
